The Civivi Praxis C18026E-DS1 is an updated version of the renowned Civivi folding knife, designed for everyday carry (EDC), tourism, and collecting. This model combines premium materials and comfortable ergonomics: the body is entirely metal, adding reliability and a sense of quality, while the smooth, soft curves of the handle with finger grooves ensure a secure grip in any conditions.
The blade features a Drop Point profile made from Damascus steel with a hardness of 58–60 HRC. The multi-layered forging creates a unique wavy pattern on the blade's surface, making each piece individually distinctive. Damascus steel is known for excellent edge retention and high strength, making the knife well-suited for both practical use and collection.
The handle is crafted from aluminum with a matte anodized finish, enhancing corrosion resistance and protecting against scratches. Its ergonomic shape prevents skin chafing, and the overall handle thickness of 12 mm ensures comfortable control. The butt features a two-position stainless steel clip that can be reconfigured for either hand, along with a lanyard hole.
The model's mechanics are designed for smooth and reliable opening and closing: opening is achieved with a flipper, and the pivot assembly utilizes ceramic bearings, which reduce friction, are wear-resistant, and not prone to corrosion.
