The Civivi Clingman Burgundy folding knife was created in collaboration with the Civivi brand, based on the design by renowned knifemaker and blogger Taylor Martin (Best Damn EDC). The model's concept was inspired by the topography of Clingmans Dome, reflected in the unusual curves of the blade and handle — the knife combines aesthetics and practicality for daily use in tourism, camping, and everyday tasks.
This model utilizes modern materials and engineering solutions: the blade is made of Nitro-V steel with a hardness of 58–60 HRC, features a Clip Point profile, and a plain edge, ensuring precise cutting and reliable tip strength. The matte finish hides fingerprints and enhances corrosion resistance.
The handle is crafted from textured G10 composite, which does not absorb moisture or odors, maintains its shape, and provides a secure grip in any conditions. For convenient carrying, a two-position Tip-Up titanium clip made of 6AL4V material is provided — it can be installed on the right or left side for right- or left-hand use.
The mechanics of operation are distinguished by smooth opening thanks to ceramic bearings in the pivot assembly. Two opening methods are available: a Front Flipper or a dual-sided thumb stud made of steel. Reliable blade locking is ensured by the Liner Lock mechanism with a metal plate, preventing accidental closing during operation.
