The full-size Civivi Buster folding knife in FG Grey (C24052-2) is a practical and reliable EDC tool from the Civivi brand, developed in collaboration with Malaysian designer Snecx Tan. Lock: The knife is equipped with a reinforced Superlock, which operates on the longitudinal movement of a spring-loaded pin, similar in principle to the Axis Lock, but boasts increased strength and can withstand significant loads. For opening, a two-sided steel thumb stud is provided, allowing for quick and convenient blade deployment from either side.
The blade and handle materials are designed for durability: the blade is made from premium Nitro-V steel with a hardness of 58-60 HRC, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance, strength, and long-lasting edge retention; the satin finish hides fingerprints and reduces glare. The handle is made of textured G10 composite on steel liners, which provides a secure grip, does not absorb moisture or odors, does not crack upon impact, and maintains its shape during sudden temperature changes.
Design features: The blade profile is Sheepsfoot with a lowered spine towards the tip, ensuring a predictable cutting trajectory and convenient control; a finger choil on the spine is provided for additional control. Ceramic bearings are installed in the pivot assembly, ensuring smooth and stable blade action. A long through-hole is made in the handle to reduce weight, and a steel clip is mounted at the tail, which locks in the Tip-Up position and can be installed on the right or left side.
