Description of NOWA 3DS 550-9130 submersible screw well pump

The NOWA 3DS 550-9130 screw well pump is designed for lifting and supplying clean cold water from wells, boreholes, cisterns, and other deep sources that meet the technical conditions for pump placement and fastening.

The NOWA 3DS 550-9130 screw well pump belongs to the class of submersible monoblock rotary pumps with a vertical shaft arrangement. The motor is located in the lower part of the pump, and a threaded outlet pipe for connecting the pipeline and a check valve is in the upper flange. The screw pump is less sensitive to water contamination than other well pumps and can operate in both vertical and inclined positions. The pump is suspended by means of a flexible cable attached to the eye bolts.

The pump can be used independently or as part of adaptive, automatic, and non-automatic pumping stations for:

• organizing autonomous water supply;
• use in irrigation systems;
• drainage of clean water (reducing groundwater levels, irrigation).

The pump is not intended for pumping mineral and sea water, chemically active, aggressive, and flammable liquids and solutions. The water pumped by the pump must not contain abrasive particles or long-fiber inclusions.

Operating conditions:

• the size of abrasive particles must not exceed 2.0 mm;
• the total content of mechanical impurities in the water must not exceed 30 g/m³;
• the water must not have a high degree of mineralization — no more than 1500 g/m³ in dry residue;
• the acidity index (pH) must be in the range from 6.5 to 9.5;
• chloride content – no more than 400 g/m³, hydrogen sulfide – no more than 1.5 g/m³;
• the operating temperature range of the pumped water is from +1°C to +35°C;
• the maximum number of motor starts per hour is no more than 20;
• the minimum well diameter is 80 mm;
• maximum immersion depth is 35 m.
