The design features two entrances and two vestibules, making it convenient for three people and for storing gear outside the sleeping compartment.
The Mountain 3 (V2) has an additional cantilever pole that increases the area and internal volume of one of the vestibules and enhances the tent's wind resistance. The outer fly is UV-resistant and has a flame-retardant impregnation. Taped seams provide additional protection from precipitation, while a protective skirt shields against snow and wind. The entrances to the sleeping compartment are duplicated with mosquito netting for insect protection, and two ventilation valves can be opened from inside the tent to control air circulation.
