Description of DTZ 517BN - K walk-behind tractor (5.00-12 wheels)
The DTZ 517BN-K walk-behind tractor is the most powerful walk-behind tractor among DTZ models.
This walk-behind tractor is equipped with a reliable 17 hp 4-stroke gasoline engine, the rest of the equipment of this model is similar to the DTZ 513BN-K model.
The increased engine power allowed equipping the walk-behind tractor with a wider rotary tiller with a maximum working width of 1400 mm. This is the largest tiller width among DTZ walk-behind tractors.
DTZ-K walk-behind tractors are equipped with a new type of gearbox. The main advantages of the new gearbox:
- separate reverse gear in the gearbox (easier to control which gear is engaged);
- reduced rotation speed of the 1st gear (better and more precise work with attachments);
- detachable rear housing cover;
- reinforced mounting for active attachments;
- visual oil level sensor in the gearbox.
The walk-behind tractor has large 5.00-12 pneumatic transport wheels with a "herringbone" tread and a removable flashlight mounted on the handlebar. Therefore, this walk-behind tractor is suitable not only for use in private households, but also for professional use in vegetable gardens, orchards, and greenhouse complexes, as well as a transport vehicle for carrying goods on a special trailer.
