The shoulder protection attaches to the shoulder part of the plate carrier using Velcro fasteners. The attachment height is adjusted by a vertical strap with Velcro, and the fit around the arm is secured by a special horizontal strap, allowing the module to be adjusted to the user's individual parameters.

In terms of composition, these inserts are equivalent to Class 1a (9×18 APS) according to DSTU 4103-2002 and Class 1 (9×18 APS, 9×19 Luger) according to DSTU 8782:2018. However, it should be noted that during testing, standardized samples have a size of 400×400 mm; for smaller or differently shaped samples, the indicators may vary.

It is recommended to use the shoulder protection as part of a set with the M-TAC Cuirass QRS and M-TAC gorget to create a protective kit for the modern operator.
