Description of Fenix HM23 Headlamp (Cree neutral white LED)
The Fenix HM23 headlamp from the Fenix brand is a practical and reliable companion for camping, hiking, fishing, cycling, picnics, and evening jogs. Compact, lightweight (43g), and durable thanks to its aluminum body, this headlamp provides neutral white light from a single long-lasting Cree LED. The design includes moisture protection, and the included stand and adjustable elastic strap allow for comfortable attachment to the head.
Operating the headlamp is simple: one button, a long press turns the device on and off, a short press switches modes. Upon startup, the minimum mode is always activated, after which you can choose from the available power levels. The mount allows the lamp to rotate 180° up and down to direct the beam in the desired direction.
Operating Modes
- 1. High: 240 lumens; beam range up to 53 m; intensity 830 cd; runtime from a fully charged battery — approximately 8 hours.
- 2. Med: 70 lumens; illumination range up to 30 m; intensity 280 cd; runtime — approximately 16 hours.
- 3. Low: 4 lumens; beam range up to 9.5 m; intensity 22 cd; with a new battery, runtime — up to 100 hours.
The Fenix HM23 is equipped with LED overheating protection: if necessary, the electronics temporarily block the brightest mode for cooling. There is a low battery indicator that notifies the user of the need to replace the power source; after the signal triggers, the device will continue to operate in minimum mode for some time.
Power is provided by 1 AA alkaline battery (1.5 V); alternatively, a 1.2 V AA NiMH rechargeable battery can be used. The headlamp is sold complete with an adjustable strap and plastic mount.
