Description

Intended for use in specialized and non-specialized medical facilities.

The transformer bed provides optimal conditions for:

- stimulation, regeneration, or repair of skin on affected body areas regardless of localization;

- prevention of colliquative necrosis development in inguinal, axillary, and elbow areas by positioning and

fixing the patient's limbs in abducted positions on special stands installed on the bed frame;

- creating optimal conditions for air circulation around the patient's body while maintaining an optimal

temperature regime.

Construction.

Depending on current needs, the bed can be used in two different ways, namely:

- as a standard two-section hospital bed for comfortable patient stay during treatment, under medical supervision, and for long-term patient rehabilitation;

- as a bed for treating patients with thermal injuries (burns) up to 70% of the body's skin surface.

The torso section of the two-section bed is adjustable in tilt angle from 0 to 65° using self-locking stops with six adjustment positions. The two-section hospital bed has metal stops, which ensure the rigidity of the bed and prevent the wire mesh from sagging.

The bed base is made of wire mesh with a 50x50 mm cell size, which provides mattress ventilation.

The bed is equipped with rubber bumpers to prevent damage to hospital ward walls when moving the patient.

The bed rails are quickly assembled/disassembled using threaded clamps.

A mesh-tensioning frame is installed on top of the two-section hospital bed, to which are fixed:

- a special fabric container designed for collecting combustiocapsules and dehydrated clots

- an air-permeable mesh.

The special fabric container, designed for collecting combustiocapsules and dehydrated clots, also functions to distribute the warm air flow directed by the aerator into the space beneath the patient.

The aerator provides smooth temperature regulation for the patient zone. The time to establish the bed's operating mode from the moment the aerator is switched on is no more than 20 minutes.

The air-permeable mesh for treating patients with thermal skin injuries is stretched onto the mesh-tensioning frame (mesh holder). Hand holders, a footrest, and an arc for attaching medical supplies, containers with medications, and devices for lifting the patient's limbs are additionally installed on the mesh-tensioning frame.

The hand holder is equipped with an air-permeable mesh and a mechanism for adjusting the height and tilt angle of the holder in two planes, allowing the patient's arms to be positioned when abducted to an angle of 15⁰ to 90⁰ relative to the patient's body. The design of the hand holders and footrest allows them to be installed on the bed frame and their distance from each other to be adjusted depending on the patient's weight, height, and/or needs.
