The NETGEAR GS724TP Gigabit Smart Managed Switch has 24 10/100/1000 Mbps ports, each capable of providing data transfer speeds of up to 2000 Mbps in full-duplex mode and supporting PoE+, as well as two additional SFP ports for fiber optic connections. It supports Voice over IP (VoIP), multimedia streaming, multicasting, security, and various bandwidth-intensive applications for SMB networks.
The GS724TP supports a wide range of network features, including Access Control Lists (ACLs), 802.1x port authentication, QoS, rate limiting, and IGMP snooping, to provide small and medium-sized businesses with network capabilities that will not lose their performance, efficiency, and reliability as traffic and emerging tasks increase.
The intuitive web interface makes it easy to monitor switch performance, configure ports, manage VLAN subnets, and prioritize traffic. Alternatively, SNMP v1/v2/v3-based software can be used to manage the switch, collecting and tracking data to monitor network status, manage devices, and implement necessary management rules and policies. NETGEAR ProSafe Smart switches are ideal for adding basic management features to your unmanaged network or extending the capabilities of managed networks.
