The managed energy-efficient NETGEAR GS108E Gigabit Plus series switch is a professional solution for organizing small local networks. Up to 8 clients can be connected to the device, providing data transfer speeds of up to 1000 Mbps. Full-duplex mode with doubled bandwidth, as well as QoS and virtual LAN functionality, are supported. Packet buffering in case of overload and non-blocking connection guarantees information reception by each client. The NETGEAR ProSafe GS108E switch requires no administration and is ready for use immediately after connecting to the network. DoS attack protection is built-in at the processor level. The matrix independently checks for routing loops and monitors broadcast storm control. IGMP snooping is used for multicasting. Jumbo frame processing is also implemented.
