Defender 7 level Predator NGU Set (8488)

The Defender 7 level Predator NGU Set (8488) is a multi-layer protective clothing set, created according to the American ECWCS 7LVL concept, from the camotec brand. The set is designed for use in harsh weather conditions and under intense loads; the universal cut is suitable for both men and women.

Material: ClimaGuard (100% polyester) with ripstop weave provides increased strength and wear resistance. The internal membrane guarantees reliable protection against wind and moisture with simultaneous breathability of 10000 g/m² and water resistance (WPR) of 10000 mm. Recommended operating temperature range: from -5°C to -20°C with active movement and full layering.

Insulation and Technologies

The set uses T-Loft (TEMPLOFT) insulation — an innovative Ukrainian material. It has internal chambers for retaining warm air, is a lightweight analogue of natural down, does not shed through the fabric, does not absorb water, and is highly resilient, ensuring long-lasting thermal insulation.

Defender 7 level Jacket

The jacket features an anatomical cut and raglan sleeves for freedom of movement, an extended design for additional cold protection, and special darts in the elbow area for enhanced ergonomics. The hood with a visor is insulated and detachable, adjustable in all parameters. Cuffs are equipped with hook-and-loop fasteners, the bottom of the jacket has drawstrings with plastic stoppers. The central zipper is covered by a hook-and-loop flap for protection against wind and moisture.

Pocket system: two classic front pockets, one pocket on each sleeve under hook-and-loop fasteners, two chest pockets, three internal pockets, and a small sleeve pocket near the cuff for small items. Hook-and-loop panels for patches and chevrons are provided on the sleeves and chest.

Defender 7 level Pants

The pants are designed to be worn over a base uniform layer. One of the key features is full-length side zippers for quick donning and doffing; the fasteners are equipped with pullers, convenient with gloves. The knee areas and the inner bottom of the leg are reinforced with Cordura-like fabric, the seat area has a double layer for increased wear resistance. A constructive gusset in the crotch reduces the risk of tearing and adds freedom of movement.

The waistband is of tunnel construction with adjustment for a comfortable fit. The bottom of the leg is secured with elastic cuffs and hook-and-loop fasteners, and a hook is provided for attachment to shoe laces. The high waist protects the lower back and has an additional layer of fleece insulation in the waist area.
