Description of DTZ-1T-50 Conveyor Potato Digger
The single-row mounted conveyor potato digger is used for high-performance mechanized harvesting of potatoes and other root crops planted in rows with a planting depth of up to 15 cm. It is mounted on a 3-point hitch system and connected to the tractor's power take-off (PTO) shaft using a standard-length cardan shaft. It features a rigid body housing a conveyor made of strong, round-section metal rods.
The conveyor is assembled without any connecting elements; its links directly engage one another, ensuring exceptional efficiency, reliability, and durability. The conveyor is driven via a closed bevel gear reducer, and all bearing units of the drive axle and support rollers are also enclosed. The blade is made from a single sheet of metal using volumetric stamping. It features an intricate, innovative cutting edge shape that provides an optimal furrow profile and undercuts the sidewalls. A deflecting comb is installed at the rear of the body to direct the flow of root crops as needed. The maximum digging depth is limited by the support wheels, whose track width varies from 80 to 130 cm. The transverse position of the potato digger relative to the tractor can also be adjusted.
