Ajax BulletCam HL (5 MP, 4 mm) is a professional wired IP camera for outdoor video surveillance that combines high video quality, intelligent analytics, and reliable protection. Thanks to its 4 mm lens, this model provides a narrower and more focused viewing angle of approximately 75°–85°, making it particularly effective for monitoring entrances, driveways, corridors, and specific areas where maximum detail is required.

The camera is equipped with a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor, which provides a resolution of 2880×1620 pixels at up to 25 frames per second. Compared to the 2.8 mm version, the 4 mm lens provides a deeper and clearer display of objects at medium distances, allowing for confident identification of faces, license plates, and small details.

HybridLight illumination combines infrared diodes for covert surveillance and white LED light for color images at night. Automatic mode switching depending on the situation ensures reliable control at a distance of up to 50 meters.

Thanks to True WDR technology, the camera produces balanced video even in challenging conditions of contrasting lighting, maintaining visibility of key elements when part of the scene is in light and the other in shadow.

Built-in AI analytics recognizes people, animals, and vehicles, reducing false alarms and increasing the effectiveness of the security system.

The camera's metal casing is highly durable, meeting IP65 (dust and moisture protection) and IK08 (impact resistance) standards. The operating temperature range from −30 °C to +60 °C allows the camera to be used in any climatic conditions.

For video archiving, the camera supports microSD cards up to 256 GB (V30 class recommended) and can work with NVRs with a hard drive up to 16 TB. Connection is via 100 Mbps Ethernet with PoE (802.3af/at) support, which greatly simplifies installation, as power and data are transmitted via a single cable. 12 V DC power is also available. The video stream is compressed with H.264 and H.265 codecs, which reduces network load and saves storage space.

Data protection is implemented using mTLS authentication, Secure Boot technology, and secure OTA updates, meeting modern security and privacy requirements.

The camera has a built-in digital microphone for synchronous audio recording along with video. G.711 μLAW/ALAW, G.726, and G.722 codecs are supported.

Thanks to integration with the Ajax ecosystem, BulletCam HL 5 MP (4 mm) can function as an element of a comprehensive security system: trigger scenarios, activate sirens or lighting upon motion detection, send push notifications, work with NVRs, and form "video walls".
