Ajax BulletCam HL (8 MP, 2.8 mm) is a flagship wired IP camera for outdoor video surveillance with ultra-high 4K Ultra HD resolution. It combines modern image transmission technologies, artificial intelligence, and reliable protection, creating a professional tool for securing large objects and territories where every detail matters.

The camera is equipped with an 8-megapixel CMOS sensor (3840×2160), which provides a clear and rich image even in challenging lighting conditions. The fixed 2.8 mm lens offers a wide viewing angle of approximately 100°–110°, allowing one camera to cover a significant area, making it optimal for yards, parking lots, entrances, and perimeters.

HybridLight illumination combines infrared diodes for discreet monitoring and white LED light for color images even at night. The camera automatically switches modes depending on the situation, ensuring full control up to 50 meters away.

True WDR technology allows for a clear picture in contrasting lighting conditions — when objects are simultaneously in shadow and under bright light. Important details, such as faces or license plates, remain easily recognizable.

The built-in artificial intelligence distinguishes between the movement of people, animals, and vehicles, significantly reducing the number of false alarms. Thus, BulletCam HL becomes not only a camera but also an analytical element of the security system.

The camera has a durable metal casing with IP65 dust and moisture protection and IK08 standard against impacts and vandalism. It can operate at temperatures from −30 °C to +60 °C, making it suitable for any climatic conditions.

For archive storage, a microSD card up to 256 GB or connection to an NVR with an HDD up to 16 TB is used. Data transmission occurs via 100 Mbps Ethernet with PoE (802.3af/at) support, allowing power and signal to be transmitted over a single cable. 12 V DC power is also supported. Video is compressed using H.264 or H.265 codecs, saving storage space and reducing network load.

Special attention is paid to data protection — mTLS authentication support, Secure Boot, and secure OTA updates. The camera meets modern security and privacy requirements.

The built-in digital microphone records audio synchronously with video, supporting G.711 μLAW/ALAW, G.726, and G.722 codecs.

Integration with the Ajax ecosystem opens up the possibility of creating security scenarios: automatic siren or light activation upon motion detection, push notifications to users, work with video recorders, "video wall" organization, and setting up private zones in the frame. This makes BulletCam HL 8 MP, 2.8 mm a key element of a smart security system.
