A vertical interactive kiosk is a device that combines a computer, a monitor, and a touchscreen.
The main task of these devices is to provide quick and convenient access to necessary information.
A touchscreen kiosk (self-service kiosk) is designed to provide users with various information without involving facility staff. Information kiosks are built around a personal computer with a powerful Intel Core i3/i5 processor, equipped with a touchscreen IPS monitor, and housed in an ergonomic, vandal-resistant, typically steel casing.
In addition to steel, kiosk casings are also made using anti-vandal tempered glass.
An interactive touchscreen kiosk provides access to information and applications for communication, commerce, entertainment, or education.
The application area for information kiosks is very wide, for example:
