STEEL Immortal AIR Suppressor — Overview and Purpose
The STEEL Immortal AIR suppressor is a high-quality sound moderator from the Immortal model line by the STEEL brand, designed for .223 Rem (5.56/45) and 5.45x39 calibers (5.6 mm (.224) caliber group). The device is ideal for use in extreme conditions, withstanding intense, prolonged burst firing and overheating up to 600 degrees Celsius. The suppressor is designed to reduce muzzle blast, decrease barrel fouling, and simultaneously functions as a muzzle brake-compensator (MBC). Muzzle thread: 1/2"-28 UNEF.
Construction and Materials
The body is made of Italian corrosion-resistant gun-grade stainless steel. The internal design accounts for linear expansion at high temperatures thanks to TM STEEL's patented floating separator block technology. Inside, a powder gas deflector is installed, which directs gases into two sound moderator circuits, increasing noise reduction efficiency and making the design more reliable in automatic firing mode.
