Description of Vitals Master LS-910-02RT Telescopic Lopper with Ratchet Mechanism
The Vitals Master LS-910-02RT telescopic lopper is a semi-professional class garden tool. It is designed for two-handed use. It easily handles dry and live branches up to 40 mm in diameter. It is intended for pruning branches from trees and shrubs in homesteads, dachas, municipal, and farming operations. It is most popular in plots and gardens with tall trees, other plants with tough branches, and thorny shrubs.
Comfort and Safety
The tool is characterized by a moderate weight of 1540 g. This is achieved because it is equipped with lightweight tubular aluminum handles.
A damper installed at the handle joint helps to absorb vibrations arising from impact during pruning.
The oval profile combined with stiffening ribs ensures high structural strength and easily withstands loads during pressing.
Thanks to durable ABS plastic overlays, the handles fit comfortably in the hands and do not slip.
Ratchet Mechanism and Blades
The presence of a ratchet mechanism allows the reciprocating motion (similar to scissors) to be replaced by an intermittent motion in one direction. This allows one press to be divided into several sequential efforts, increasing cutting capacity. In several steps, without excessive effort, a branch up to 40 mm in diameter can be pruned, while maintaining a clean cut.
The blades are made of SK5 carbon steel. Thanks to high hardness, very good toughness, and wear resistance, the cutting edges withstand extreme loads well and retain sharpness even during prolonged use.
Telescopic Handles
The tool has telescopic (extendable) handles that allow its length to be adjusted from 630 to 910 mm. Due to the lever effect, they allow for strong pressure on the cutting edges. The long handles provide the ability to prune branches at high altitudes without using a step ladder or stepladder.
