Description of Vitals Fix 280 ml White Sanitary Silicone Sealant

Vitals Fix 280 ml White Sanitary Silicone Sealant is a one-component sanitary silicone sealant containing antiseptic agents that prevent mold formation, allowing its use in the production and installation of shower cabins, as well as for sealing joints in rooms with high humidity.

Properties and Advantages:

• 100% silicone without solvents;
• fast curing;
• resistant to mold and mildew formation;
• no shrinkage;
• does not crack or lose color;
• resistant to sudden temperature changes and aging;
• withstands the effects of detergents and other chemicals;
• excellent adhesion.

Scope of Application:

• glazing and sealing of joints during the production and installation of shower cabins;
• sealing of joints between tiles and shower cabins;
• hermetic filling of joints and seams during the installation of plumbing equipment;
• sealing of kitchen sinks.

Recommendations for Use:

• ensure surfaces are dry and free of contaminants;
• application temperature from +5° C to +40° C;
• after application, the sealant must be smoothed (with light pressure) with a rubber spatula within 5 minutes for dense, uniform joint filling and reliable bonding of parts;
• remove excess uncured sealant with a solvent. Cured residues can be mechanically removed;
• apply for joining structural elements with a thickness of 6 to 12 mm;
• the minimum recommended joint depth is 6 mm.

Storage and Shelf Life

The shelf life is 18 months when stored in unopened factory packaging in a dry place at room temperature.
