The KS 6000iES ATS inverter generator has a built-in ATS unit and can operate in both manual and automatic modes. The OFF-RUN rotary switch on the right side of the generator combines the fuel valve, the internal 12V power switch, and the ignition switch.
When not in use, the generator must remain in the OFF position to prevent the generator's lithium battery from discharging.
The generator is supplied with the battery disconnected, which must be connected under the left cover before first use.
The battery is charged by an internal charging module while the generator is running, or when there is 230V voltage at MAINS INPUT (regardless of the rotary switch position). The 230V voltage at MAINS INPUT is monitored as soon as the rotary switch is set to RUN and the ATS SWITCH to ON.
If the 230V voltage at MAINS INPUT disappears, the ATS controller starts the generator and switches the 230V sockets to power from the generator's inverter module. The built-in electronic unit with microprocessor control monitors the generator's operation and provides a stable 230V 50Hz sinusoidal output voltage, suitable for the reliable operation of sensitive electronics. The proprietary reliable K&S engine features increased wear resistance, long and stable operation, and complies with all European quality standards, including EURO V. The ECONOMY MODE fuel-saving mode reduces fuel consumption by up to 50% at low loads by reducing engine speed. The generator is equipped with an automatic transfer switch (ATS) system.
The built-in automation unit allows the generator to monitor the presence of power from the external grid and automatically turn on in case of its disconnection, and then automatically turn off when power supply returns, without user intervention. The ergonomic control panel is equipped with: an LED display, an economy mode switch, and a RESET button to restart the control system (if the circuit breaker trips) and restore voltage.
Control of all key operating status indicators: overload protection, automatic shutdown at low oil level. The soundproof casing provides a minimal noise level (66 dB Lpa 7m), comfortable use, and convenient transportation. Konner & Sohnen inverter generators are equipped with a high-quality brushless alternator with 100% copper winding.
The reliable and compact alternator is mounted on permanent magnets, in a plastic casing, and can withstand maximum loads without damage, guaranteeing long-term reliable operation of the generator set. The casing is equipped with a transport system for ease of movement, which significantly expands the scope of use.
Two wheels and a handle that lifts when moving the generator ensure comfortable transportation and mobility of the unit.
