Description

VR04 FPV Goggles are the perfect entry ticket into the world of analog FPV. These "helmet" style goggles combine everything needed to get started: built-in video recording (DVR), long battery life, and thoughtful ergonomics. The main advantage of the VR04 is maximum comfort for the pilot, including the ability to fly while wearing corrective glasses, making them one of the most versatile in their budget class.

Who it's for:

  • Beginner pilots: looking for a quality and affordable all-in-one solution for their first flights.

  • Pilots who wear glasses: the spacious internal design allows you to keep your own glasses on while using the helmet.

  • Micro-drone (TinyWhoop) owners: an excellent choice for indoor flights and backyard training.

Purpose of use:

  • Learning FPV piloting: the large 4.3-inch screen helps to better see details and navigate in space.

  • Recording and analyzing flights: the built-in DVR allows you to save video to a memory card for later review or to find the drone in case of a crash.

  • Long flight sessions: thanks to the large battery capacity and external power option, you are not limited in time at the location.

  • Home training: ideal for maneuvering indoors, where extreme communication range is not required.

Design features and ergonomics

  1. Glasses-Friendly: the internal space is specially enlarged so you can comfortably wear your prescription glasses directly under the helmet.

  2. Complete light isolation: the contoured soft eco-leather (PU) padding and silicone nose bridge effectively block external light, ensuring full immersion.

  3. Foldable antenna: facilitates transport and protects the connector from damage in a bag. The antenna is removable (RP-SMA connector), allowing for easy replacement with a more powerful one.

  4. Simple controls: a convenient joystick and a separate record button allow you to adjust brightness, contrast, and channels by touch during flight.

Power and battery life

The goggles are equipped with a built-in 2000 mAh battery, providing up to 2 hours of operation. Charging is done via a modern USB-C port. A unique feature is the support for external power: if the built-in charge is depleted, you can connect any battery (2S-6S) via the DC5.5 power connector, making these goggles maximally autonomous.

Recording function (DVR)

With a single button press, you can start recording your flight to a MicroSD card (up to 64 GB). This allows you not only to share your successes on social networks but also to review recordings directly in the goggles — an indispensable function for finding a drone in the grass using the last video frames.

Key features:

  • All-in-one: built-in battery, DVR, and 48-channel receiver.

  • Visual comfort: wide 16:9 format and compatibility with glasses.

  • Flexible power: Type-C charging and support for external 2-6S batteries via DC.

  • Removable antenna: upgradeable for improved reception quality.

  • Lightweight: weighing only 425g, it won't tire your neck during long training sessions.
