Vitals DM 12.0sne diesel internal combustion engines are versatile single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled general-purpose engines.
Vitals DM 12.0sne engines with a power of 12 hp, a displacement of 477 cm3, and a splined shaft connection are used as autonomous power units for a wide range of machinery, equipment, machine tools, and transport mechanisms. These engines are used where high power, reliability, and low maintenance are required, as part of: mini power plants; in agricultural machinery — walk-behind tractors, motor cultivators, mowers, self-propelled chassis, irrigation systems, etc.; in construction equipment — in vibratory plates, concrete mixers, compressors, pumps. DM 12.0sne engines can also be used in vehicles, including water transport — boats, motorboats, and small yachts.
A design feature of DM 12.0sne diesel engines is a replaceable cylinder, which, if necessary, can be replaced separately from the cylinder block, significantly simplifying and reducing the cost of repairs.
Both a manual and an electric starter are used to start DM 12.0sne diesel engines. The engines are equipped with a decompression valve, which significantly facilitates starting at any time of the year. To avoid injuries during operation, DM 12.0sne engines have an emergency switch to stop the engine in case of danger. For easier access from different sides of the crankcase, two oil filler necks with dipstick plugs are provided.
