Vidun PRO Drone Detector
«Vidun PRO» is a specialized device for detecting unmanned aerial vehicles by intercepting analog video communication channels and scanning control frequencies. The device allows for early detection of aerial threats within a 360° system radius at a distance of up to 4000 meters. The device operates in two directions: it simultaneously scans and intercepts video channels, and also detects LoRa control signals.
Unlike typical solutions ≈1–1.8 GHz / 2.8–4.0 GHz / 4.8–6.0 GHz, «Vidun PRO» has significantly expanded video detection ranges: 0.9–2.2 GHz / 2.2–4.0 GHz / 4.8–6.1 GHz and LoRa control: 150–950 MHz / 1.9–2.1 GHz / 2.4–2.5 GHz, ensuring full coverage of relevant frequencies. The scanning speed ranges from 3 to 20 seconds, depending on the radio environment's noise level. For operator convenience, «Vidun PRO» is equipped with two displays: a large screen for real-time display of intercepted video from the drone's camera, and a small screen for service information, settings, and LoRa signal detection spectrogram. If there is no video signal, the large screen automatically turns off to save battery power.
The detector is equipped with an active cooling system that maintains a stable temperature of internal components even during prolonged operation and high load. This increases the reliability of the device and ensures stable performance.
The device supports image output to external monitors or PCs via a USB to AV connector. The video detector is designed for long-term operation in field conditions: a built-in 10000 mAh (7.4 V) battery provides 5–7 hours of continuous operation. The casing is made of durable PETG plastic with IP54 protection, safeguarding the electronics from dust and splashes.
