UPS with Pure Sine Wave LPE Series 5000/3500 VA/W
Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) with pure sine wave output from the LPE series are designed to work with external batteries with flexible charge current regulation.
The intelligent charger allows connecting batteries with a capacity of 20 Ah for low-current loads, such as a single circulation pump with a power of 45-60 W. It is also possible to connect batteries with a capacity of 150 Ah or more (depending on the model) to increase autonomous power supply time.
LPE Series Features:
- Pure sine wave output;
- Microprocessor control;
- Suitable for all types of loads, such as resistive, inductive, rectified loads, and motors;
- Charge current and voltage are set in the menu on the front panel;
- Configurable no-load shutdown and energy-saving mode;
- Protection against short circuit, overload, and low battery charge;
- Intelligent long backup power time;
- Generator compatibility and ability to configure inverter and generator.
In case of an incomplete external power outage, or simply a drop in mains voltage, the UPS uses its built-in relay voltage stabilizer to step up the voltage, thereby protecting the connected load from undervoltage in the grid. When the voltage is too high, the stabilizer reduces it.
UPS with pure sine wave and external battery are used:
- as uninterruptible power supplies for gas or solid-fuel heating boilers
- UPS for emergency lighting
- to provide backup power for server stations and telecommunications equipment
- UPS with pure sine wave for circulation pumps
- as a voltage stabilizer with a backup power source for powerful and high-speed computers
How to choose a UPS for heating boilers and emergency lighting systems?
Before buying a UPS with a pure sine wave, you need to consider the following technical characteristics:
-
Total power of electrical appliances that will be connected to the UPS. This parameter can be found in the technical documentation for each piece of equipment.
-
Starting power – the amount of electricity consumed by the device when it is switched on. For connecting a UPS to equipment with high inrush currents, a more powerful UPS model should be chosen.
-
Required time for autonomous operation from the battery. Determined by the individual needs of the consumer. For long-term autonomous operation, a UPS with a pure sine wave output should be chosen, to which an external battery can be connected.
ATTENTION! This UPS does not have a "through neutral". Please ensure that your heating boiler does not require an uninterruptible power supply with a "through neutral".
Types of external batteries that can be connected to the UPS:
- Lead-acid AGM. Service life - up to 400 charge/discharge cycles
- AGM (multigel). Service life - up to 800 charge/discharge cycles
- Gel battery. Service life - up to 1200 charge/discharge cycles
- Lithium iron phosphate battery. Service life up to 7000 charge/discharge cycles
How to calculate the required battery capacity for an inverter (UPS) with a pure sine wave?
To calculate the battery capacity and UPS autonomous operation time, use the online calculator.
If you need to extend the cables connecting the battery to the UPS, please contact technical support for consultation.
