MotionCam is a wireless motion detector with photo verification of alarms for indoor use. The detector operates for up to 4 years on the included batteries, detects motion at a distance of up to 12 meters, recognizing a person from the first step. MotionCam detects intrusion into a protected area by using an infrared sensor to detect moving objects with a temperature close to that of the human body. Thanks to the temperature compensation function, the sensor is effective in rooms with temperatures from 0 to +40 °C. With proper placement and settings, MotionCam does not react to pets.
When the sensor is triggered, the built-in MotionCam camera can take 1 to 5 photos with a resolution of 320 × 240 and up to 3 photos with a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels. A series of photos is played back in the application as an animation, allowing you to assess the event in dynamics. Photos are available both in Ajax applications and in the monitoring station software of the security company. Before sending images to the hub, MotionCam uses the Wings radio protocol. For shooting in the dark, the sensor is equipped with infrared illumination, which is activated only when an alarm occurs.

An important aspect of the sensor is that it only works with Ajax Hub 2!
