The Ajax MotionProtect Outdoor wireless outdoor motion sensor detects intrusion into the protected area. The sensor is immune to animals up to 80 cm tall, does not react to swaying branches or leaves, and the presence of birds or insects does not cause false alarms. The sensor is also protected from unauthorized interference (covering, painting, varnishing), operates at temperatures below 0°C, is splash and dust protected, and its detection range is adjustable.
The sensor is equipped with two independent passive IR sensors. The data received is verified using the LISA two-factor algorithm: detecting similarities between signals from both sensors, and checking spectral patterns. This makes it possible to avoid false alarms and allows adjusting the sensor's operating range (3-15 m). MotionProtect Outdoor is easy to install and configure without special knowledge: mounting on SmartBracket fasteners is convenient and will not damage repairs, and connecting to the central unit is done via a mobile application in just one click. The device is ready to use out of the box, even the battery is installed.
