U-Prox PIR Combi VB is a wireless combined sensor that integrates motion detection (PIR) with glass break detection and features a vertical curtain lens. The device is designed for indoor perimeter security, for example, along windows, doors, or corridors. It sends separate notifications for motion and glass breakage, which increases response accuracy.
The IR sensor detects motion at a distance of up to 12 meters with an 88-degree viewing angle. The acoustic sensor detects glass breakage sound at a distance of up to 8 meters. Standard, tempered, laminated, and multi-layer glass with a thickness of 2 to 8 mm and dimensions from 0.5×0.5 m to 3×3 m are supported. Light immunity over 6500 Lux, digital signal processing, and temperature compensation ensure stable operation even in bright lighting.
The sensor operates at a frequency of 868–868.6 MHz in a secure two-way radio channel with 256-bit encryption. Communication range is up to 4800 m in open areas. Firmware updates via OTA are supported, as well as tamper protection. Powered by one CR123A battery. Service life is up to 5 years. Mounting is done using a flat or corner bracket. Operating temperature: -10 to +55 degrees. Humidity: up to 75%.
