Ajax EN54 FireProtect Smoke/Sounder Jeweller is a certified wireless smoke detector with an integrated siren, designed for prompt fire detection and immediate local notification in one compact design. The device complies with EN 54-7 (smoke detection), EN 54-3 (audible alarm), and EN 54-25 (radio communication) requirements, making it an ideal solution for commercial, public, and infrastructure facilities.

The detector is equipped with a dual-spectrum optical sensor that accurately recognizes smoke particles, filtering out false alarms from steam or dust. Upon smoke detection, the device instantly activates the built-in siren with a power of at least 85 dB at a distance of 3 meters, ensuring prompt local notification even before the signal is transmitted to the central panel.

The device can operate autonomously without connecting to a hub, activating an alarm locally. When integrated with Ajax Fire Hub Jeweller using the secure Jeweller radio protocol, the communication range can reach 1300–2000 m in open space. Thanks to the interconnected alarm function, all system detectors activate their sirens within 20 seconds of smoke detection.

FireProtect Smoke/Sounder Jeweller comes with a pre-installed battery that provides autonomous operation for 5–7 years. Installation is tool-free thanks to the SmartBracket mount, and tamper protection instantly reports any attempt to remove the device or open its casing.

All device parameters, including battery status, signal level, sensor contamination, and unauthorized access attempts, are displayed in real-time in the Ajax mobile and desktop applications.

The device operates stably in temperatures ranging from –10°C to +50°C and withstands humidity up to 85%. Available in black or white.
