Kiborg GU gen.2 Plate Carrier Body Armor — Overview
The Kiborg GU gen.2 Black Multicam Plate Carrier Body Armor from the Kiborg brand is modular individual body armor for modern combat gear. The plate carrier is compatible with standard armor plates measuring 25x30 mm with beveled upper corners and allows the use of plates up to 30 mm thick (metal or ceramic), enabling you to customize the level of protection to your needs.
Materials and Construction: The body is made of durable Cordura Nylon 6.6 1000D fabric with a polyurethane coating and NIR impregnation to reduce visibility when using night-vision devices. The plate carrier features an improved removable front panel with Molle attachments, Velcro, and Woojin carabiners for quick gear changes.
Comfort and Protection: 3mm thick 3D mesh padding improves ventilation, reduces sweating, and enhances wearing comfort. A quick-release system on the shoulders and cummerbunds ensures instant removal in emergency situations. The cummerbunds are divided into five sections, equipped with a Molle system and pockets for Class 1 or 2 ballistic soft armor from Militex.
