The Ajax KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller is a wireless keypad for controlling the Ajax security system, designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It supports multiple authorization methods: personal code, contactless key fob (Tag), card (Pass), or smartphone. Thanks to its durable, sealed IP65-rated enclosure, the keypad operates in all weather conditions — rain, snow, or dusty environments.
Users can use the keypad to change the security mode, enable night mode, control individual device groups, or launch automation scenarios — for example, opening electric locks or turning off lights. Large, backlit mechanical buttons are easy to press even with gloves. For security, a duress code function is implemented: entering a special code sends an alarm notification while creating the illusion of a normal unlock.
The keypad uses the proprietary Jeweller radio protocol, ensuring stable communication with the hub up to 1700 m away. Installation is done using the SmartBracket mount, which prevents device removal without triggering the tamper. Thanks to autonomous battery power, the keypad can operate for up to 3 years without battery replacement.
