Borner CO2 Cartridge (12 g)
The Borner CO2 cartridge (12 g) is designed for pneumatic weapons: pistols and revolvers. The cartridge is filled with CO2 gas under pressure and is installed in the pistol grip or magazine, where the cartridge neck is punctured during installation; gas supply is controlled by the weapon's valves, and with each shot, a dose of gas is consumed according to the pneumatic mechanism.
In addition to gas, a small amount of oil is pumped into the cartridge, which lubricates the barrel bore and moving mechanisms during firing. That is why it is strongly not recommended to leave the cartridge in the weapon after use: prolonged presence in a charged state can lead to premature wear of rubber seals and valves under the influence of pressure, gas, and oil. If your weapon has started to lose pressure or noticeable leaks are present, you should purchase a repair kit and contact a professional workshop for diagnosis and repair.
Twelve-gram CO2 cartridges are practically identical and suitable for most simple pneumatic pistols and for blow-back type pneumatics (with a movable slide and bolt). One cartridge is enough for approximately 40 shots, with each subsequent shot potentially being slightly weaker than the previous one due to a gradual decrease in pressure in the cartridge. If you plan to use about 100 pellets, it is recommended to have at least 3 CO2 cartridges on hand for continuous shooting.
The cartridge is convenient for training, recreational shooting, and as a spare consumable in the field. Before purchasing, be sure to check the compatibility of the cartridge with your weapon model and follow safe storage and transportation rules. Product ID: 40593.
