Ballistic Protection Package for UKRTAC Battle Belt, Class 1 DSTU

Brand: Specprom. This ballistic package is designed for installation in UKRTAC battle belts (tactical belts) and provides Class 1 protection according to DSTU 8782:2018. When installing independently, the softer side of the package should face the body, and the harder side should face the potential threat. The ballistic component is supplied in a vacuum package, which protects against moisture and mechanical damage, extends the product's lifespan, and minimizes the risk of hydrostatic shock if wet.

Test Description and Ballistic Characteristics

The package successfully passed tests in accordance with DSTU 8782:2018 "Personal Protective Equipment. Body Armor." and NIJ 0101.06 standards. During testing, the armor package withstood firing with a 9×18 mm bullet (velocity 345±1 m/s) with a spherical head and a steel non-hardened core in a steel jacket covered with gilding metal (57-N-181s cartridge — Makarov pistol), as well as a 9×19 mm Luger bullet (velocity 409±1 m/s) in a full metal jacket of copper alloy with a hemispherical nose and a lead core. The backface deformation depth during testing did not exceed 22 mm, confirming effective protection against the specified pistol calibers.

Materials and Design Features

Ballistic material: ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) — a lightweight and durable material that provides high energy absorption with low weight. An 8 mm thick damper reduces backface deformation and increases wearing comfort. The vacuum packaging of the ballistic component protects against moisture and mechanical damage during storage and transportation, which positively affects the product's durability.

Notes and Operating Recommendations

Do not dry on surfaces or in conditions where the temperature exceeds 80°C (e.g., in direct proximity to open flames, on stoves, etc.). Store in a dry, UV-protected place.
