Porous insulating thin fiberglass separators are placed inside the battery. The separators and electrode plates are tightly pressed against each other. Thus, there is no free liquid electrolyte between the battery plates, as it is contained within the separator and the active part of the electrodes.

The amount of liquid electrolyte is dosed so that small pores are filled with acid, while larger ones ensure gas circulation.

The battery design features an improved gas recombination system – oxygen and hydrogen, formed as a result of chemical processes, do not escape the sealed casing before condensation.
