Flight Controller and 4-in-1 ESC Flash Army HOBBY F405 + BLS 60A (30.5×30.5)
This kit from Flash Hobby combines two key components for a modern FPV quadcopter: the Flash Army HOBBY F405 30.5×30.5 flight controller and the high-current Flash Army HOBBY BLS 60A 30.5×30.5 4-in-1 electronic speed controller (ESC). This is an optimal solution for racing or freestyle drones that require compact mounting on a standard 30.5×30.5 mm footprint and high reliability when operating on 3–6S LiPo batteries.
Flash Army HOBBY F405 Flight Controller — Key Features
Product Name: Flash Army HOBBY F405 30.5×30.5 Flight Controller

IMU (Gyro/Accelerometer): ICM42688
USB Port: Type-C
Barometer: BMP280
OSD Chip: Betaflight OSD (AT7456E chip)
DJI Air Unit Connection: two methods supported — 6-pin connector or direct soldering. The 6-pin DJI connector is fully compatible with DJI O3, RunCam Link, Caddx Vista, DJI Air Unit V1 without needing to change wiring.
Blackbox: 16M (16 MB)
Current Sensor: supported (for 50A ESC, scale = 180 and offset = 0 recommended)
Power Input: 3S–6S LiPo (via 8-pin ESC connector)
Power Outputs: BEC 5V — 5 output groups, total load 3A; 9V — 3 groups, total load 2.5A; 3.3V — 1 group, max current 300mA.
ESC Signals: M1–M4
UART: 6 ports: UART2, UART5, UART3; UART6 is for SBUS; UART4 is for ESC telemetry; UART1 is for VTX data configuration. SBUS debugging on UART6. ESC telemetry: UART R4 (UART4).
I2C: supported, SDA and SCL are exposed on the front side of the board — used for connecting an external magnetometer.
LED Pads: supported — pads for LEDs, 5V and GND are located on the bottom of the front side; designed for WS2812, controlled by Betaflight firmware.
Buzzer: supported, there are 5V and BZ pads for connecting a 5V buzzer.
BOOT Button:
- Supported. [A] Press and hold the BOOT button and simultaneously power on the controller to force it into DFU mode — useful for flashing if the controller is locked. [B] When the controller is powered and in standby mode, the BOOT button can be used to control LED strips connected to the LED1–LED4 connectors on the bottom side: a short press cycles the LED display mode; a long press switches between SpeedyBee-LED and BF-LED modes. In BF-LED mode, LED1–LED4 strips are controlled by Betaflight firmware.

Kit Advantages
This stack is ideal for modern FPV systems: compact dimensions and standard 30.5×30.5 mm mounting simplify integration into the chassis; powerful ESCs ensure stable motor operation on 3–6S LiPo; the multifunctional flight controller with STM32F405 MCU, ICM42688 IMU, BMP280 barometer, and Betaflight OSD (AT7456E) guarantees precise control, convenient telemetry, and compatibility with DJI Air Unit. The built-in 16M blackbox and current sensor support make flight configuration and analysis more efficient. The kit includes an external 35V 560µF Low ESR capacitor for ESC power stabilization and features a TVS protection diode for increased reliability.
If you are looking for a reliable, compact, and functional stack (FC+ESC) for a racing or freestyle quadcopter — this kit from Flash Hobby will be an excellent choice.
