The detector is based on a dual-spectrum optical sensor, which allows for accurate detection of smoke at early stages of ignition, effectively filtering out false alarms caused by steam or dust. The sensor uses the proprietary Jeweller radio protocol, which provides two-way encrypted communication with the Fire Hub central panel at a distance of up to 2000 meters in open space.
