The Honda HDS HIM automotive scanner is designed for dealer diagnostics and programming of Honda and Acura vehicles (starting from 1992 models). The device can perform diagnostics of control units via K-line and digital CAN bus, supporting both old and new protocols. Vehicle diagnostics are performed through the OBD2 connector in the car's interior (usually located under the steering wheel), and the scanner connects to the computer via the COM port.
Scanner functions for working with Honda/Acura dealer protocols:

Reads and decodes trouble codes from control unit memory
Erases trouble codes (clears memory)
Displays current system parameters in digital form (up to 8 parameters simultaneously)
Displays current parameters in graphical form (any 2 parameters simultaneously, selectable)
