Fue Carb is one of the premium carbohydrate blends for energy replenishment. It contains fast and slow carbohydrates, minerals, and the DigeZyme® digestive enzyme complex. The carbohydrate blend consists of rapidly absorbed premium Vitargo®, slower Palatinose™ (isomaltulose), and fructose. The resulting carbohydrate blend has a relatively low glycemic index of approximately 2:1. The end product of Vitargo® metabolism is glucose, and in the case of Palatinose™ — glucose and fructose. Thus, the final glucose to fructose ratio in the blend is 2:1 (approximately 60:30 per 100g of product), which provides the most effective carbohydrate formula.

Carbohydrates themselves contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function after intense or prolonged physical exertion leading to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscles. However, a necessary condition is carbohydrate intake of 4g/kg body weight in portions administered within the first four hours after such exertion and no later than six hours after exertion.

The composition also includes chloride, sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Calcium, along with magnesium, contributes to proper muscle function and maintaining healthy bones. In addition, they aid in proper metabolic conversion, important for energy production. Calcium itself also contributes to proper digestive enzyme function, and magnesium helps reduce fatigue and exhaustion. Usage
