Ajax EN54 FireProtect Heat is a high-precision fire heat detector, certified to the European standard EN54, designed for early detection of fires in premises where smoke generation is not a primary factor in a fire or where the use of smoke detectors is impractical. It responds to critical temperature increases and rapid temperature rises, allowing the threat to be detected at an early stage.

The device uses a thermal sensor with a dual analysis algorithm — it detects exceeding a temperature threshold (e.g., 54–65°C depending on the mode) and the rate of heating. This approach provides effective protection in dusty, steamy, or aerosol-filled environments where smoke detectors might produce false alarms, such as in kitchens, garages, or industrial areas.

FireProtect Heat supports integration with Ajax EN54 series fire hubs and also operates as part of a comprehensive security and automation system. Upon detecting dangerous conditions, it transmits a signal to the hub, which instantly notifies users via a mobile app, sirens, and, if necessary, to a security monitoring station or fire department.

The casing is made of heat-resistant plastic, resistant to UV radiation and discoloration. The built-in indicator and audible alarm allow for visual and acoustic notification of an alarm even without connection to external sirens. Power is supplied by an AC or backup source (battery), ensuring autonomous operation even during a power outage.

The device is protected against dust and insects, and is easy to install and maintain. It is configured via the Ajax mobile app, where you can change activation thresholds, check battery status, and test sensor operation.
