The Kiborg GU gen.2 plate carrier is a modern individual body armor designed for compatibility with standard 25x30 mm armor plates with beveled upper corners. The design allows for the use of plates up to 30 mm thick, both metal and ceramic, enabling customization of the protection level according to specific tasks.
The plate carrier body is made of high-quality Cordura Nylon 6.6 1000D fabric with a polyurethane coating and NIR treatment to reduce visibility with night-vision devices. The materials provide resistance to moisture and wear and do not fade in the sun.
Design features:
- Improved removable front panel with Molle system, Velcro, and Woojin carabiners for quick replacement of gear and pouches.
- Damping inserts for improved ventilation, made of 3mm thick 3D mesh.
- Quick-release system on shoulders and cummerbund for emergency situations.
- Cummerbunds with five-part damping inserts, equipped with a Molle system and pockets for Class 1 or 2 ballistic soft armor from Militex.
