Description of Brunox Gun Care lubricant

Brunox Gun Care is a professional anti-corrosion lubricant in a 100 ml spray format, recommended by NATO specialists and marked with code S-761. This product is specially designed for reliable lubrication of mechanisms and protection against premature wear: Gun Care effectively removes organic and mineral contaminants and removes small particles of gilding metal, metal, and gunpowder during cleaning.

The formula contains the Trurboline additive, which increases the adhesion and penetrating ability of the lubricant, allowing it to reach even hard-to-access areas. After application, a protective coating approximately 1–2 µm thick (2 µm specified in the description) is formed, which does not harden and does not attract dirt. The lubricant does not contain graphite, silicone, or Teflon, so it leaves no unwanted residue and is safe for lacquered, painted, wooden, plastic, rubber, and textile surfaces.

Brunox Gun Care provides rust protection in a wide temperature range: from -55°C to +80°C during operation. The thermal resistance of the compound allows for short-term loads up to 160°C and long-term operation up to 125°C. The specific gravity of the lubricant is 0.83±0.02 g/cm3, dynamic viscosity at 20°C is about 4 mPa (for dropper and aerosol), and the pH is neutral, which reduces the risk of corrosion or surface damage.

The product is suitable for the care of various types of weapons: firearms, airguns, sports, and collectible weapons; effective for both smoothbore and rifled barrels. Thanks to its consistency (non-hardening film 64 mPa) and protective properties, Gun Care facilitates maintenance, cleaning, and extends the service life of parts.
