The Ganzo ProSharp model is a versatile mechanical diamond sharpener from the Ganzo brand, designed for maintaining basic cutting tools in household and field conditions. At the base of the sharpener are two diamond panels of different grits, each 150 mm long: on one side, a diamond plate with 400 grit for coarse sharpening and angle formation, and on the other, an 800 grit panel for finishing and giving the blade optimal smoothness. To restore sharpness, 6-12 strokes on each side of the blade, performed alternately on the panels, are usually sufficient.
For quick setting of a fixed sharpening angle, two slots are provided near the handle base: the left slot is equipped with a carbide sharpener for coarse processing, and the right one with a ceramic sharpener for finishing. This combination allows sharpening the blade from both sides at once and quickly achieving a working edge.
An auxiliary device for sharpening scissors is built into the center of the handle, making the Ganzo ProSharp even more versatile. The handle is made of food-grade polypropylene (PP): this plastic is neutral upon contact with acids and liquids, impact-resistant, does not crack when dropped, and withstands extreme temperatures. The handle length is 115 mm, and its matte surface ensures a secure and comfortable grip during operation.
Full sharpener dimensions: 290 x 57 x 20 mm, construction thickness is 20 mm. The model's weight does not exceed 207 grams. A wide through-hole for hanging is provided at the tail of the handle – with its help, the sharpener can be placed on a kitchen holder or gear so that it is always at hand.
