Invacare Action 4 NG HD is a mid-active lightweight wheelchair that combines reliability, ergonomics, and user comfort. When changing the configuration of the rear part of the seat, the angle of the front fork, the position of the armrests, and the brakes are easily adjusted.

The seat depth is adjustable within 5 cm, allowing for anthropometric fitting. A wide range of footrest height adjustments ensures comfort for various needs. The seat and backrest upholstery can be individually selected, with the backrest featuring straps with Micro-Velcro fasteners for adjusting tension and stiffness, as well as for correcting the user's position in the chair.

The chair can be equipped with additional options to enhance comfort and safety: a height and depth-adjustable headrest; drum brakes for the attendant; a brake lever that folds flush with the seat plane; solid front wheels with a diameter of 6 or 8 inches.

The Action 4 NG HD features special footrests for amputated limbs, which significantly facilitate use: the footrests are adjustable in height, tilt angle, abduction angle, and depth. The model can also be equipped with a continuous footrest, adjustable in depth and tilt angle.

The chair is designed for a maximum load of up to 160 kg; in the reinforced configuration, additional seat width sizes are available: 50.5 cm, 55.5 cm, and 60.5 cm. The reinforced frame does not impair maneuverability or ease of use. For fixation and additional structural stabilization, the wheelchair can be equipped with a backrest crossbar. A backrest pocket is also provided for practical user needs. Users are offered the option to choose a seat cushion according to individual preferences.
