The rubber used to coat the plates offers superior long-term durability. Thanks to high-quality, pure rubber without impurities, we have achieved a complete absence of odor; the plates do not smudge and possess high shock-absorbing properties, which in turn prevents damage to the dumbbell itself and to floor coverings. The bar, as well as the locking nuts, are entirely made of steel and covered with a layer of chrome. The knurling on the bar's handle prevents hand slippage and provides an excellent grip.
