Main Blade and Interchangeable Profiles

The basic configuration includes a Drop Point blade — a versatile shape with a downward spine and a sharp tip for precise and piercing operations. The Roxon S502U supports replacing the main blade with one of 13 available options (interchangeable blades are sold separately):

To change the blade with the knife closed, slide the two locks located on the front and back of the handle towards the center. The structure disassembles into three components; after installing the new blade, the parts are reassembled and secured with the locks. All blades feature a hole for quick one-handed opening.

Materials and Durability

The main blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel, which provides an optimal balance of strength, corrosion resistance, and cutting properties; ease of sharpening and stable hardness of about 56-59 HRC. Other structural elements are made of AISI 420 steel in a hardened state with a hardness of approximately 50-55 HRC, making the metal ductile and impact-resistant; a chromium additive (~13%) increases resistance to oxidation and high temperatures.

The handle is equipped with black G10 fiberglass laminate scales — a composite of fiberglass and epoxy resin. G10 is resistant to acids, salt water, and UV rays; its rough surface ensures a reliable grip in any conditions.
