Description and Purpose

This child torso simulates the anatomy of a 10-year-old child: smaller and thinner body contours, realistic chest shape, and visual landmarks (navel, ribs, sternum). Thanks to the realistic nose structure, it can be pinched for breathing maneuvers, and the fully formed upper neck allows for practicing pulse checks on the carotid artery. The manikin allows for demonstrating proper head tilt to open the airway and observing chest rise during inhalation.

Indication and Compatibility

The manikin optimizes the learning process with two separate indication devices: LED indicators instantly report the rate of chest compressions, and audible signals inform about the correctness of compression depth. This allows for real-time correction of the student's technique and achieving recommended compression parameters in accordance with AHA standards.
