Purpose and Compatibility

The KRON ANTIork field sniper mount is designed for installing red-dot and optical sights, thermal imagers, flashlights, and laser designators on 7.62 and 5.45 mm caliber assault rifles. Compatible weapon models include:

Materials and Coating

The mount is made of 65G steel and duralumin. The surface has a polymer weather-resistant matte black coating, designed for use with optical sights and to reduce glare.

Design and Installation

The mount consists of a base, which attaches to the rifle, and a wing, which holds the sight and is secured to the base. Fixation is provided by two support points: a screw under the standard pistol grip and under the magazine catch. No modification of the rifle is required for installation; mounting time is 5-10 minutes. Necessary tools: screwdriver and hammer. Standard iron sights are retained and can be freely used with the installed mount.

Ergonomics and Practical Features

With the mount installed, partial disassembly of the rifle, cleaning, and clearing malfunctions during firing are possible. After removing the mount, the zeroing is retained. The distance and height from the shooter's eye to the sight are optimal for accurate and quick aiming. The weight of the mount and sight is evenly distributed to both hands, which increases aiming stability.
