TOR-D-V Kevlar Helmet (M-XL) — Global Ballistics, Coyote / Olive

The TOR-D-V Kevlar helmet from Global Ballistics is a Class IIIA ballistic protection product according to NIJ 0106.01 (in accordance with DSTU 8835:2019 — 1-A), designed for maximum protection and comfort in the field. Material: aramid fabric (Kevlar), combining high strength with relative lightness for prolonged wear. Product type: Military Equipment > Helmets > FAST.

The TOR-D-V meets NATO STANAG 2920 requirements for fragmentation protection (velocity >670 m/s). The design provides protection against light bullets, fragments, explosive loads, and impact from falls; the material and coating demonstrate fire and moisture resistance. The anti-glare coating reduces operator visibility.

Design and Technical Specifications

The shape features "High Cut" side cutouts (similar to the FAST helmet), allowing for the installation of additional equipment. The helmet's weight is 1500 grams, including all external mounting elements. Suspension system: The four-point DISK-2 system ensures secure fixation, while internal memory foam damping pads adapt to the head's shape, facilitating size adjustment and providing comfort during prolonged use. The shock absorption and ventilation system maintains optimal thermoregulation.

Compatibility and Mounting

The TOR-D-V is compatible with ballistic masks, tactical and corrective glasses, active headphones, and night-vision devices. For mounting additional equipment, a universal platform for night-vision devices or cameras is provided, as well as side Picatinny rails for attaching communication devices.

The helmet has undergone testing in accredited laboratories, including the Institute of Security Technologies "Moratex" (Poland), Beschussamt Mellrichstadt (Germany), and NTS-Chesapeake Testing Laboratory (USA), confirming the product's technical characteristics and reliability.
