Description

FULLFORCE FP ACL is a functional reinforced brace from the manufacturer DJO Global, designed for protection and rehabilitation after injuries to the anterior cruciate ligament and collateral ligaments of the knee joint. The brace frame is made of durable aluminum alloy with a wear-resistant carbon coating and features a patented 4-point fixation system ("Four Points of Leverage"), which provides reliable dynamic stabilization, prevents pathological rotational movements, and minimizes the risk of re-injury. The FULLFORCE FP ACL SHORT model with a short frame is specifically designed for skiers and snowboarders: the short design pairs well with high ski boots and other protective gear.

FourcePoint Hinge

The brace uses a patented FourcePoint hinge with a spring mechanism that provides controlled resistance during sudden knee extension. The mechanism acts as a decelerator for the last 25° of extension; the hinge has three levels of resistance with the option to disable them if needed, with a standard 10° extension resistance pre-set. The FourcePoint hinge is not suitable for posterior cruciate ligament injuries!
